Responsible

This book works well for children aged 4 and up. I liked that Diggery Doo made all the mistakes in the first section of the book and in the second section he learned to be responsible. I used this book to design a preschool lesson on learning to be responsible. The children examined the text and pictures to answer questions about the story: what did Dragon do on this page? Did dragon make a good choice? Was dragon being responsible, etc. Then children designed their own dragon to use as a story prop and decided on one thing they would like to teach their dragon about being more responsible that week.

Great SEL book

I'm a school social worker and used this book often with students. It's a great social/emotional book for little kids, especially lower elementary range!

Your Dragon will be a fully-enlightened Bodhisattva by age 10!

OK, I'm exaggerating... a little bit.

Love these books

Love how these books help support my message to my children as a parent. It just helps them understand that they are responsible for more then they realize. It supports me as a mom of 4 boys by reiterating my words to them.
