Nice lessons

These books have nice lessons in them. They are easy for young kids to understand and I love the whole concept of "Teaching your dragon" instead of making it seem like the kid is doing something wrong. I plan to buy several of these books, the pictures are cute, and they are on current topics, handling issues with care and understanding.

Educate your little dragon

My toddler started lying to me, so I hour this book to help me teach her why lying is bad. She loves dragons so that was a huge plus. The story is easy to understand and teaches exactly what I wanted it to. My toddler is 3 and we have read it multiple times upon her request!

Nice way to teach basic values

I have used many of the dragon books for bibliotherapy. They seem to appeal to children 6 and under. This series covers a wide range of behaviors and situations. I found the topics on lying, stealing, and on temper to be t he most valuable for my needs. They teach lessons in a gentle way that is appealing to young kids. This is a great series and I highly it.

Great book that sparked good discussion

You never know if books are going to actually help you get the point across to your kids when you need them to learn something--but this book really helped. My son even asked a question this morning after reading it before bed last night. It is a book in rhyme and talks about several aspects of lying. We will keep reading it to help drive home the importance of the truth!
